Restore is described as ‘an optimistic lifestyle publication that celebrates community and making from the home’. The themes throughout focus on ideas of community, repair and self sustainability. We sourced analogue artwork and warm toned film photography - both of which added a layer of texture and a human touch to the magazine’s visual language. Across the magazine there is a key focus on colour, bringing a friendly essence to the magazine. Despite having varied subject matters, these consistent uses of colour and visual content bring these themes together, creating a bright, friendly magazine that focuses on the joy of finding a community and the act of repair.
